Rachel Kerensa is a young Soprano performing across Dorset and beyond . She is currently completing an open degree encompassing art and culture. Rachel's musical journey began in musical theatre when she won a place at West End Masterclasses and attended weekly training in London. Ultimately, Rachel found her voice thrived in classical music and she found herself rapidly falling under its spell. Rachel then undertook specialist training in the Italian Bel Canto singing technique with international opera singer Olivia Whelan. While completing her training Rachel performed the lead roles of Josephine (HMS Pinafore, 2014) Phylis (Iolanthe, 2015) and Mabel (Pirates of Penzance, 2016) with Christchurch Gilbert and Sullivan Society. She also performed Solo's in several concerts with South Wessex Opera Chorus and is now a regular guest artist with Bourne2Sing Male Voice Choir. Rachel can often be found performing at various soirées, recitals, Private functions and concerts across Dorset and beyond.



Any occasion can be enhanced by a beautiful piece of music. It's the reason that even years later hearing a certain song on the radio, on a commercial or even a stranger softly humming it to themselves can bring a tear to the eye a smile to the face or even a tug on the heartstrings. Rachel understands the importance of selecting the perfect piece of music, the piece able to effortlessly transport one to a time and place near or far away. She offers a talent and presence that can help to create a truly special atmosphere for any event.
